Salt Lake ~ Vacation ~ Puppy

It's a bummer that I was sitting over the wing. But I think I still got some pretty good pictures. I was flying (sans kid and husband) to California for a long weekend with my girlfriends. SO much fun! I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures as we flew over Salt Lake!

Not that this is unusual, but my kids all decided on costumes for Halloween that are nowhere near coordinating. But I still think they were adorable. Abby's costume wasn't nearly "poofy" enough for me, so I made her a tutu to go with it.



and this little guy didn't last too long. But I just had to share one of baby "B". This one cracked me up!



Halloween was busy in our new neighborhood. We had at least 300 children knock on our door. Not exaggerating. I might be under what the actual number was. It was insane but fun! And a big change from last year when we only had about 15. haha!

[ My BoSs ] EEK!

This morning, I took pictures of my boss this morning. If that's not something that will make you want to bite off all of your fingernails, I don't know what will! all in all, I am happy with them. I just hope she is, too. I'd hate to go to work tomorrow morning and find out I'm fired. LOL!!

Mr Runs-a-lot

I literally ran 3 miles after this child. Bundle of energy he is! Cute as a bug, but it left me less than satisfied with the pictures. Hoping mom schedules another time to shoot when he might sit for a few seconds. Having time to focus would be nice. lol

ADorABle COupLE!

I had the opportunity to photograph my beautiful co-worker (know there's no hyphen there, but I hate that it looks like COW. lol) and her handsome hubby this morning. I couldn't have been more nervous. They are gorgeous and were willing to do anything. Which makes doing this a whole lot easier. The sky was a challenge to say the least. But I think I got a few good shots!

I've become quite the shopaholic when it comes to miss Abby. She's at the age where there is SOOOOOOOooooooOOOo much I want to buy for her! I'm sure I'll be posting a few more outfits this week.... and I can't forget about her FABULOUS new coat!

Wow, how long has it been since I've done this?? Sorry! I'm crazy busy lately!!
The theme is blue..... and miss Abby just got the CUTEST blue and grey dress that she was really excited to model. Throw in some funky blue boots, and she thinks she is a model! LOL!

We spent Sunday last weekend at our friends house. Good food. Good friends. Football. And a bounce house for the kids. okay, okay, you could catch a few adults bouncing their tails off in there, too! haha! I found it quite funny that Abby was scared of it at first. Would not go near it. But once we got her in there, we couldn't get her out!
What a great day it was. Here are a few snapshots. Not great photos, but great memories!

Little Miss No-Smiles

Life doesn't always go the way you planned. Scratch that.... life RARELY goes the way you planned it! Jess and I took baby L out to take her 6 month pictures. She did not smile. Not one time! She was a bit cranky, but it was so cute. She didn't cry at all, she just had the cutest little whine. Despite her sullen mood, I did manage to get a few sweet pictures. We'll try again soon when baby L is in a more playful mood :) We got there when the sun was really bright, but we knew L was not going to last long, so we found some shade and snapped away.
