Does anyone......

Want or need a photo played with? Now, I'm no miracle worker. I'm asking more about a photo that is at least in focus. Not a photo that is blurry and dark and needs 4 people cloned out ;)

If you have a photo you love but it just needs some tweaking for color, skin issues, or you just can't seem to make it come to life, I'd love to give it a whirl.

Leave me a linky here to your photo and I'll tweak away!

Some quick examples :)

A few disclaimers:

I cannot promise that your edit will be print-worthy. I will try my hardest, but it might not be possible.

If I get too many requests, I reserve the right to choose which ones to do and which ones I cannot.

Please keep in mind that I do this for fun, and in no way do I call myself a professional.

Remember that I am doing this for fun and for free, and as a favor. Mind your manners, please :) Bossy Betties, and demanding divas will be put in the doghouse.

Editing photos is one of the things I love to do. It's how I relax. I will put as much love into your photo as I do one of my own.

Oh do I have a photo for you! In fact I have tons but I have one I recently took that was just frustrating me.

:D

I was just thinking about asking someone to edit it for me to see if they could get it right but didn't know who to ask.

Click on photo (It is the one of her sleeping on towels that says Heaven sent) This link should be original photo with no edits. There is one I edited but I feel like her skin tone is too pale because of all the edits.

I struggle horribly with white backgrounds. They are always to grey and if I get the background color right it seems to make my subject the wrong color.

Let me know what you think!

Shelly, that photo is pretty small, do you have a bigger version of it? I can try to play with the little one, but I'll be more limited this way, and you won't be able to print it.
Thanks :)

Congrats on the Blurb Book selection! It's so exciting, isn't it?! Can't wait to actually have a copy of it in my hands! Your edited photos are fantastic - how kind of you to offer to share your talent with those who need it. I am an editing newbie and would love to see what you could do with some of my photos, but don't think any of my SOOC are worthy of your time or effort, LOL!

Wow I love the first one! That is really neat! What program did you use? Thank you so much for sharing that. You do great work! I need to learn how to use textures and backgrounds. I usually only do filters or eye and face retouching.

Usually I am a HUGE fan of black and white but I just love the soft warm feel of the colored ones. Thanks again for sharing your talent! If it is okay can I post your edit on my blog with your name so that I can share with others your talent. Thanks again!

Of course you can use it however you want to :) And thanks :)

I use Photoshop cs3, soon to be using cs4. LOL

If I have time next weekend, I will try and do a quick tutorial on textures.
