I love playing around with photos. This one I found to be quite challenging. The brighter I went, the more I blew the grass. So I had to play with layers, burning, dodging, multiplying. Took me a while. Still not 100% happy with these two edits, but I did my best :)

Ohhhh-I like it. Thats one thing that I still dont know how to do-texture. Great job!
These are great edits! I didn't find many edits that I liked this week, but yours are great. How did you do the edges of the second one? I'm curious!
Melanie, it was a texture I got on Flickr :)
Thanks!
Wow - what's not to like. I think they're great! Good job. BTW, everytime I come here, I love your blog a little bit more. Do you keep adding pretty little embellishments, or do I just not notice?! So cute.
I like what you did with the face. Nice how you got rid of the 'sun spot'. Due to time, I didn't even attempt that. Nice job!
I like how you did the face in both of yours. I like how you took care of the 'sun spot'. Due to time, I didn't even attempt that. Nice soft facial features. The 2nd one took care of the grass issue very well. Nice job!
I love that last one with the texture overlays! It really adds to the picture!
I love the second one! I still can't figure out texture. I'd love the recipe for what you did! AMAZING!
I am such a sucker for textures/clip masks. The last photo is really, really cool!
i like the way you minimized the shadow on his face. nice job.
Nice work!
Ok so that boarder/texture is freaking cool!!! Love it! Love the brightness too!
This is the best one that I saw. I am not even kidding. I want to hire you to do edits for me : ).
Oh, I hate talking about politics too. Give me a freaking break!
